Aero Aviation was founded and is owned and managed by Bill Legard.  Bill brings a unique blend of skydiving experience and knowledge and international business management to the leadership of this organization.  

Bill started jumping in 1978 and has accumulated nearly 10,000 jumps.  He remains a highly active skydiver with multiple medals from the US Nationals in formation skydiving.  He also holds numerous large formation records at the World, National, and State levels.  He is also an instrument-rated pilot with two thousand hours.

Bill holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, both from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.  He has held numerous executive positions in the paper and display industry with Chesapeake Corporation and International Paper, managing businesses with as few as 10 and as many as 1200 employees.  More recently, in the skydiving industry, he was President and CEO of Aerodyne Research for 8 years and there grew the brand, tripled the sales, and established a pattern of sustainable profitability for the company.

Now with Aero Aviation, he is bringing his experience, knowledge and energy to bear in bringing the world's best equipment and service to a hand-picked customer base.
